The Borough of South Toms River is proud to announce that community information is now available in the palm of your hand!
The Borough of South Toms River officially launched its smartphone application to provide residents with direct access to resources and information. Such readily available information will include a tab titled, “Report It,” which allows residents to report non-emergency issues such as potholes, missing street signs, and Code Enforcement issues. Other resources are news feeds, live calendars for meetings, one-touch calling to Borough Hall and Animal Control, request Certificate of Occupancies, signing up for Community Notifications through Nixle, and other helpful community weblinks. In the near future, the application will have links for a prospective Buy-Local campaign designed to increase traffic and support South Toms River businesses while reducing property taxes. The smartphone app is available for android/Google Play phones, and will be available within 2 weeks for IPhones. Just go to the GooglePlay store and search for “South Toms River.”
