Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of South Toms River, Ocean County, New Jersey for “Mathis Plaza – Mobile Food Concession Truck/Trailer/Shed” and be opened and read in public at the Meeting Room at Borough Hall, 19 Double Trouble Road, South Toms River, New Jersey, on July 20th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. prevailing time.
Contract Documents for the proposed work, which have been prepared by the Borough Administrator, Joseph Kostecki, are available at the office of the Administrator/Municipal Clerk at 19 Double Trouble Road. South Toms River, New Jersey, and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm..

ADDENDUM TO BID PACKAGE FOR THE BOROUGH OF SOUTH TOMS RIVER NJ FOR THE MATHIS PLAZA MOBILE VENDOR CONCESSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bid form for this concession has been revised to provide an estimated value of the concession based on the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law 5:34-9.4, entitled “Concessions” . This addendum is now part of the original bid package and has been placed on www.boroughofsouthtomsriver.com under bids/rfps. This addendum will be updated by end of business monday July 10th. New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law and New Jersey Administrative Code
(f) The total estimated value of the concession shall be considered as the aggregate value in determining the procurement method that will be used. The concession shall be awarded in accordance with the relevant procedure for the method used to procure the concession. The total estimated value shall include all revenue, if any, that may be expected to be received by the concessionaire, which shall be deemed to include the value of all payments, goods, and services received by the contracting unit. A specific exception to this subsection shall be the use of bank automated teller machines or other cash vending machines. The threshold for this service shall be based on the estimated annual value of fees charged to users of the service and the value of all payments, goods and services received by the contracting unit.
