Greetings. I hope today finds you well.  I would like to introduce myself so that you may place a face with my name and office.

It is truly a pleasure to be granted with the opportunity to serve the residents and Governing Body in this Borough of the “Little Town with a Big Heart.” Please know that this office is always here to help, answer questions, and more importantly, solve problems. We move forward together, and I look forward to meeting each resident.

Pursuant to the Borough Code, the Borough Clerk serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Borough and is responsible to the Governing Body for the proper and efficient administration of municipal services and business affairs of the Borough. This generally incl

The Borough Clerk, as Secretary of the Municipal Corporation is the Custodian of the Municipal Seal and maintains custody of all minutes, books, deeds, bonds, contracts and archival records of the Municipal Corporation. Attests to the signatures of municipal officers and officials. Maintains receipt of service of legal documents. In addition, the Borough Clerk is the Custodian of Public Records and is responsible for all OPRA requests. As Secretary to the Governing Body, the Borough Clerk attends all Mayor and Council Meetings, prepares the agenda and retains the original copies of all ordinances and resolutions, records minutes, receives and opens Bids, Request for Qualifications and Requests for Proposals and is responsible for all publications: administers and records Oaths of Office and acts as the liaison between the public and the Governing Body. As the Chief Administrative Officer in all elections in the Municipality, the Borough Clerk is responsible for furnishing election materials, determining the validity of petitions, tallying the votes and certifying election results. The Borough Clerk also serves as the Chief Registrar of voters in the municipality, subject to the requirements of Title 19 of the revised Statutes. The Borough Clerk serves as the Administrative Officer responsible for the acceptance of applications for licenses and permits examples: Bingo, Raffles, Liquor, Peddlers, Solicitors etc. and the issuance of licenses and permits.
